I actually bought a Sealy pillow top. Then I read that Sealy builds Stearns. My issue is on 2 pillow tops that I had, both mattresses sides bowed out which created a hammock effect on both sides of the mattress. No fun rolling uphill to get to the center of the bed. The first had a problem within 90 days, which I exchanged, and the second produced a hammock within 1 year. Terrible is being kind.
The revelation that Stearns was involved with Sealy made me cancel my thoughts about being a Stearns customer.

I just had a king Estate Sterns and Foster mattress and box springs delivered from Mattress xxxx for $xxxx+. (redlined to conform with review prohibitions).
Unfortunately, I did not test the bed before the delivery guys left. If I had, I would have refused delivery. I wish I could leave a recording here so that you could hear how noisy the box springs are. It is a great disappointment.
The retailer gave me two manufacturer numbers to call. One said that the box springs cannot be returned. The other number gave prompts to nowhere (i.e., push 4 for returns, but then it just goes back to the automatic landing message). I called Mattress xxxxxback, and they said they would replace the box springs in a day or two.
I hope they do, but the experience so far has been inconvenient and not what you would expect for the expense. I fear I have been stuck with an inferior product.

We had our old pillow top matress for about 15 years. By this time it no longer offered support or comfort. Once our bed was set up and made we laid down on it. It was like laying on a cloud..
After our first nights sleep my husband woke up with less back pain the he had in a VERY long time.

There bed is horrible and our bed is under warranty and they don't stand by the warranty. It's pretty bad when you have to go to a hotel to get a good night sleep. They send out a kid that throws a string across your bed and says it's not uneven so they won't replace. Never laid on it see that the inside of the bed is caved in. What a joke don't buy one.

Our mattress has alway been uncomfortable but after a year it is unbearable. First it weighs an unreasonable about which bring me to the second point you somehow have to manage to rotate this barge every six months or it gets incredibly lopsided. Third it you don't get stuck in the quicksand of the temperpedic you lastly have to avoid the divot the place you lay most often. This thing isn't even paid off and I'm already looking for a new mattress. This is my second sterns and foster and the first one I said never again and then let the salesman convince me that they had greatly improved.

I could cry every day! We used to have a St/F king size mattress for maybe ten years, we loved it, I felt like the mattress is hugging me!
After those years we thought it's time for a new one, we bought 2 twin xl at the Woodstock furniture outlet.
They feel like they are stuffed with Pinestraw, painful, painful ! We were busy with moving and did not return them, our fault.
We are retired and cannot afford to buy new mattresses every 3 or 4 years! Makes me so sad 😞
I was told it matters which store I buy them? Is this true?

4 pinched nerves in my neck , 2 herniated disk in my back. My new hybrid soft let's me wake pain free. SMB ( HYB ) ( SOFT ) PP55 , is the only matterest I've found I can sleep on without waking in pain . 5 stars.

I over the top in love with my king size mattress! No matter who sleeps on it, raves about best sleep they've had! Thinking to replace as fabric finally going. Handles have ripped off! Nevertheless still rave reviews! And recently! The composition seems to be an overstuffed firm pillow. When I bought, tag said the mattress was fold proof and has been.

I purchased the Estate pillow top mattress 11/4/23. I tried several different mattresses from different companies and even a couple of mattress toppers to help my discomfort of hip and leg and lower back pain when I sleep. This was expensive buying these mattresses and mattress toppers so I could be comfortable when I sleep. None of these mattresses were soft enough. I am a side sleeper because I have acid reflux so I have no other choice. I am now experiencing hip and leg pain with this new mattress. This mattress was very,very expensive and a financial burden but my comfort when I sleep is important. I tested out this mattress at the Mattress Superstore where I bought it and it seemed to be very comfortable. The mattress has not given me many problems until about a month ago. Now I am stuck with an expensive mattress that I am not comfortable with at night.

I am really disappointed w my 2nd mattress purchase. I purchased it from Ashley furniture 4 yrs ago w a 10 yr warranty. Last year I contacted Ashley bc I coul feel the coils on the mattress every time I laid down. I figured that would b covered under the warranty bc I had it for only 3 yrs. Ashley told me to contact their warranty dept which I did. The lady I spoke to told me that to b covered under the warranty they would send a tech to ck it out. When the tech came he said he had to use a string to ck It out. A string REALLY?? He had me hold one end of the string on one side of the bed while he held the other piece on the other side. I told him that he needed to sit on it to feel the coils but he e was too busy holding the string. Then he told me that Ashley had sold me the wrong mattress for an adjustable base. So that's what he reported. Nothing about the coils. The lady called me back and told me that it wasn't covered under warranty bc the "string" didn't show anything wrong w it. It sure is a shame that a warranty is given on a product and the company refuses to ck it correctly so it doesn't have to honor the warranty after charging so much money for their product. I purchased it bc of the warranty. I will tell people of my experience w ur product and will recommend they don't purchase the product bc the warranty is not honored as presented…

I've had a technician come out to check my mattress because both sides me and my husband sleep on are sagging and they measured the middle of the mattress. I was then told the mattress is fine, sure if you measure the middle where nobody sleeps. Very disappointed. They won't honor their warranty!

I have previously slept on a select comfort mattress for the last 30 years and upgraded to a Stearns and Foster after having their pillows and trying out the mattress at my local furniture store. This is by far the best investment in quality sleep I have ever made! Buy one, you wont regret it!

I can say that from the sales experience (online) to delivery and set up, purchasing this mattress was the best decision we have made. The mattress is so comfortable! I have had back surgery and I was hesitant to get a softer mattress. The mattress has helped me sleep better and get up feeling rested. Great purchase!

It has lumps and a huge bumps on it tried talking to retailer told me it was normal I said it's only 4 months old. Contacted sterns and foster said it was not normal but they said they could not do anything about it without a rejection letter from D&D mattress company and they won't give me one. Do not waste your money

I purchased this Stearns & Foster Founders collection Derby County Eurotop Queen size mattress from The Brick in September 2023 - SKU CRDCTYQM. This mattress appears to be a poorly refurbished product. The middle of the mattress is sunken and there is a visible padding across the the middle of the mattress. Very uncomfortable, would never recommend this product.

From ordering to delivery and setup, this has been a seamless process. The queen is very comfortable and plush. I have myself awakening in the am sleeping on my back. That's totally new sleep behavior. We had a recent house guest who raved about her sleep experience. Bottom line I am sleeping much better; oh, and so is the cat.

ZERO STARS. I've had my Plush Pollack for a year and stitching is coming apart on both sides of the bed. It's supposed to have a 10 year warranty on the mattress but they denied my claim to replace my bed. Don't waste your time or money

This mattress is beautiful, it's not too firm nor too soft. Just got it yesterday and slept through the night. I have never before sleep comfortably on a new or strange mattress before this. I woke up feeling rejuvenated and no stiffness. The only negatives I have is all the warnings attached to the mattress and how difficult it is to remove they completely. Other than that it's perfect.

Our mattress is a 3 rd replacement again
After 3 years, the company send us a replacement from NY warehouse.
Again there are sags and affects our backs. Last replacement took about 4 months after many emails and calls

Purchased the mattress a year ago last December. Paid over 3,000.00 and the mattress is now sagging. Called the number on my 10 year warranty to be told I have to deal with Mattress Firm who I purchased the bed from. I filed a claim and was told by Mattress Firm they knew this model was defective and it should be 24 hours to get the funds to purchase another mattress. It's been 2 weeks and no one knows anything!!! Called Stearns to be told I can't help. I pointed out the warranty is on their paperwork. To be told I have to deal with mattress firm. I will NEVER buy a stearns and foster product. Beware of the WARRANTY

I purchased my Pollock Luxury Ultra Plush mattress back in late Fall of last year. I replaced a Sterns and Foster ultra plush mattress I had for 10 years due to sagging in the middle. I am a former employee of Sealy and thought I would be a lifetime customer, until now. The Pollock Hybrid is NOT Ultra Plush! If you require a luxury ultra plush mattress, I recommend you to NOT consider the Hybrid Pollock. The Pollock is a cushion firm mattress disguised as an ultra plush mattress. I toss and turn all night and wake up with body aches in the morning. Lately, I have been sleeping on my sofa to avoid all of the tossing and turning during the night. There is a HUGE difference between the foam that is used in the Pollock versus the all spring coil line.
YES, Sterns and Foster uses the top of the line quality materials, YES, Sterns and Foster has been a trusted brand for generations. YES, Sterns and Foster is a big investment towards getting a good night sleep. NO, I do not recommend the Pollock to anyone that needs an Ultra Plush mattress.

Having been a water bed person for 26 years I needed a mattress that would kinda be simular as in no pressure points. So far this pollock cushion firm is fitting the bill. I laid on the plush soft one and it was a little too soft, harder to turn over. (I kept my water bed over filled so I wasn't sinking into it). The mattress is warmer than what I'm used to, (I didn't use a heater on the water bed, only mattress pads) but it is not warm enough to wake me up because of it. I also have the cooling waterproof mattress cover on it. Very happy with my purchase especially beings I paid clearance price for it because it was a floor model.

This mattress is extremely well made and comfortable. I sleep great on my back, but I am a side sleeper and I can sometimes wake with a little twinge. It does keep you cooler in the night and less sweating like my previous mattress. My mom has had Stearns & Foster mattresses for years and said they stand behind their products. This is my first one and it is a cut above the rest.

This is our second purchase in 6 years and we made sure we bought the same Mattress we so loved. The Pollock but in a king size, moved the queen into the guest room for them to enjoy. This bed helps with my bursitis and I sleep like a baby. It is heaven ! The price is up there but no mattress has ever compared to the comfort we enjoy. We replaced an old S&F mattress that we had for over 15 years with this new one. The technology is very different and in a good way. We were looking for a firmer mattress and this one is definitely firmer. The stores did not carry the higher end mattresses, so we did not get to try them out first. This might be more firm than we expected, but it has eliminated the back problems from having an older softer mattress. It is firm, but the temper memory foam is very comfortable and conforming. Very happy with the new mattress and S&F's quality is unmatched.

At first the mattress felt ridiculously firm. Then realized it was delivered during a cold spell so it wasn't warm enough to be soft. ( SnF put that in your delivery notes.)
Once it became room temp it softened up and felt good for sleeping 😴. Going from memory foam to a hybrid took many nights to get comfortable while sinking in the body spot. It does drop further than expected, but feels pretty cozy. The mattress does return to flat easily.
So far it's been a good combination of squish and conformity to the body's shape.

I'm a nurse who is always on my feet and for the last couple years suffered with pretty bad back pain. After thousands of dollars in chiropractic visits, I was desperate for relief of the ongoing back pain. Turns out the culprit must of been our cheap old spring bed because this bed has changed everything. I went from barely being able to rolling out of bed in the morning to springing up for action with no pain and am so thankful. People say "you get what you pay for" and I'm now a believer of this when it comes to beds. Thank you for this life changing bed.

As a matter of fact, we purchased the ULTRAFIRM version of this mattress (king size) . Since it arrived, we realise how much we have shortchanged ourselves in the past by NOT having a mattress of this quality. We spend on average 1/3 of our life sleeping, and a good quality sleep is thus extremely important. We have noticed that the firmness helps avoiding the back pain from which we suffered sometimes in the past. Also, the fact that it keeps its shape and does not develop a "central valley" is an important feature for us. We also like the side handles, which make it relatively easy to change the sheets, for which we have to lift the 170 pound
mattress out of the base we built for it.

Love my new mattress , its so comfortable and just puts me to sleep. Im a side sleeper and had a very hard time finding a mattress that was comfortable for me. I am sensitive to mattresses so it had to be just right and not put my arm to sleep or hurt my hips , this mattress was the answer. Thanks you for a wonder nights sleep its been a long time coming !!

Yes, the bed is expensive but worth it. I've had it for a month and I'm getting quality sleep. I am no longer exhausted during the day or need to sleep 10 hours. I wake up refreshed. Usually I buy a firmer mattress but I appreciate the bit of luxury with the top cushion. I feel supported without feeling like I'm sinking into the mattress. I've had foam, inner spring and gel padded mattresses at all price points - this is far and away the best mattress I've purchased.
