I went with the ultra low profile flat foundation and it is the perfect support for my new mattress. I have a platform bed and went back and forth on rather I really needed a foundation. Wanting to make sure my mattress had the right support to last as long as possible, I choose the ultra low profile base. This base was a perfect fit with my bed while providing me with assurance my mattress will have the support it needs.

The height that this adds to our King bed is perfect and works as intended. Really makes our room feel like a master bedroom. This product contains two pieces that can be pushed against one another, they do not interlock. Regardless of this, they do not move on their own when used on our bed frame which has some extra room for it to move. This is a great product for a tempur-pedic King bed, although quite overpriced.

I recently purchased the 2" ultra-low version to replace a box spring that was too tall for my needs. I originally tried no box spring for a week and boy was I sore! I was a bit apprehensive on whether the 2" foundation would provide enough support, but I'm very happy with my purchase. It's sturdy and provides the perfect amount of support for my Tempur-Pedic mattress.

Foundation arrived in great condition. We removed the corner plastic tabs as instructed and it fit perfectly into our queen bed frame. Very light weight and doesn't make any noise, unlike our old box spring. We got the 5 inch version for a happy medium and it has worked amazingly for us.

Don't purchase. I'm stuck with an expensive bed that I can't sleep on, purchased on a sale without understanding there were no returns for this particular kind of sale. There was an asterisk on the website that mentioned "some exceptions apply", but the link lead nowhere. When we tried to return, we were told there was nothing they could do, even though the person helping me could not even find the exception for no returns either. The crazy thing is that when returning, I was wanting to upgrade my bed and spend even more money to do so. I'll never purchase from Tempur-Pedic again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Not only does this foundation look nice, it is the only foundation I've found that is truly a solid, flat foundation. We started by buying one for our own bed, and loved it so much we now have them on every bed in the house (even a daybed!). It comes in so many configurations that it works in basically any setting. Our oldest one is going 4 or 5 years and it still looks great!
