We purchased this bed in a split king in November. Overall, we're pleased with the product. It's comfortable, I've enjoyed the heating feature during this winter (haven't really used the cooling feature yet). My husband's sleep apnea has improved, which was the main reason for purchasing. There are a lot of "cool" features, but we don't use all of them for various reasons. One we haven't used is the surround sound speakers. Firstly, our bedroom TV doesn't have Bluetooth, and secondly, I don't need surround sound when I'm trying to sleep. We discovered this weekend though, that ANYONE can connect to the Bluetooth. Since we didn't have a device connected to our bases, apparently our neighbor found it in his list of devices and connected to it. Waking up in the middle of the night to a disembodied voice saying, "Bluetooth connected" followed by gunshots from your husband's side of the bed is not relaxing. There is no way currently for us to disconnect our bed from the neighbor's device without going over there and informing him (which we don't want to do for several reasons). We do not live in an apartment or townhouse. We are in an older, single family neighborhood and the house next door is at least 30ft away. They are currently sending us a new sound bar that will at least bump them off when we unplug our bed allowing us time to connect another device (don't know what yet), but it will not keep them from being able to connect again in the future if our device gets disconnected for some reason. This is a serious design flaw that needs to be fixed. Manual Bluetooth pairing should be required. If you decide to purchase this bed, make sure to connect a Bluetooth device to the bed whether you want to use the surround sound or not. For the money spent, we should not have to keep our bed unplugged to avoid being awoken by our neighbor's late night entertainment, making all those cool features useless.

The heating element keeps going out. We've received two new bases and sure enough the heater stops working. We've had these since late October 2025. It's a split king and both bases were swapped out for new and the heating element keeps going out. The last time they sent a tech out with a "new" fan because the heat didn't work but the fan did. Guess what!!! He plugged the "new" fan in and it didn't work. The fan didn't even come on. We didn't pay over $14,000 to have a broken bed. Definitely don't buy this is you want just ALL of its features to work. Please stop selling this product so other consumers don't have to go through this. It's a huge disappointment and needs to be addressed.

The cool feature could be stronger and I could say the same for the heat. Regardless it's a wonderful mattress that I and my wife enjoy. I love the Wave massage it offers to wind down at night and I have noticed the temperature regulation is quite literally that perfect neutral feeling you get when you wake up in the morning. We had a Pro Breeze for about 3 years before deciding to get the Active Breeze. Now every room in my home has a Tempur and I continue to tell friends about how wonderful it truly is to have luxury sleep. Life long customer here!

We got an Active Breeze Bed with adjustable base.
It wasn't cheap but has changed our lives…literally!
I sleep HOT and the hubs is always cold. This beds solves both issues and we've turned the AC off!
The bed is amazingly comfortable and everything we hoped for and more.

With two different body temperatures my Wife likes the cooling breeze she gets and I like the warming feature. We have the two base units with the different levels of vibration and the ability to have it be just the top half of the mattress, the bottom or both. And the ability to raise and lower the mattress independently from top or bottom is great. Plus we can save two settings with the touch of a button so no fiddling to find the right setting each time we get in bed. And with one touch, we can return the bed to flat or level 0 position And bot basses and mattresses fit inside our current wood frame so we could keep the headboard and footboard and it looks like a regular single King mattress with the covers on. While each twin have its own mattress protector and sheets, we use a very large blanket and comforter across both beds. It also allows us to have either bad at a different level without any issues. We've only had the bed going on two wells, but we've already noticed a difference sleeping and the overall versatility of the bed. This is not the least expensive bed on the market, but after comparing 5 of the top competitors, h ty his one is hands and shoulders above everything for functionality, quality and comfort.

I had always heard that buying a high-quality mattress made a difference. Our previous mattress set was not cheap, but not top of the line either. I am a healthy person, but the years ahead are growing less than the years behind. We decided to get a new mattress and tested out a few. The new ones are profoundly better than our old one. And when the salesperson showed me the Active Breeze, ProSmart Air system.........................game over.
On the very first morning after sleeping on an amazing mattress, I was absolutely shocked that I woke up with literally no back ache or needing to "break the rust loose" after sleeping a full night. I still cannot get over how supportive this mattress is, how comfortable it is, and how soundly I sleep. So, I challenge anyone on the market for a matress to change your thought process from buying a mattress set and finding a good deal to finding the right mattress to make an investment in. You will not realize the return on the investment in your life as your entire day begins and finishes on an entirely higher-level playing field. I told my wife I felt spoiled for the first time in my life. She said I deserved it. You can figure out the rest... (get it!)
You may not need all the bells and whistles, but as a core product, the Tempur-Pedic Mattress does not miss the mark on comfort, quality, promise of keeping you cool, and genuine customer satisfaction.

This is my third bed, and it's a keeper! I started with the Purple Mattress; it was awful. I switched to the SleepNumber with active cooling. The cooling tech pulled the air from the top down, making the area around me cool while keeping the actual mattress hot. Plus it was NOT comfortable. I finally switched to the TEMPUR-ActiveBreeze and WOW what a difference! The cooling technology is far superior by pushing air up through the mattress and cooling the mattress underneath me. Plus the comfort of the mattress is absolute heaven! The soundscapes and vibrations add a superior touch. It's just an amazing bed!

I recently bought the Tempur-ActiveBreeze mattress and base sets for the split king. I had the best sleep last night that I have had for decades. My orthopedic doctor recommended that I purchase the Tempur-Pedic pillows and mattress. My cooling pillows are ordered and on their way. If you are wondering if this set is worth the money, please know that the quality of sleep I had last night was priceless! If you are someone who has trouble sleeping from pain or heat, then the Tempur-ActiveBreeze is for you. I do not benefit from posting this review except for sharing information that can make a huge difference for others, like myself, suffering from pain and heat that prevented getting any quality sleep. Purchased a split-king qfter experiencing the display bed firsthand in their flagship store. They have a weighted piece of fabric that highlights the fact that there is a small breeze coming from the mattress. You can literally see the fabric trap the air and hover your hand over the mattress, feeling the breeze as well.
We got the mattress in two weeks after placing the order, delivery was great, very exceptional and professional! Base worked like a charm qnd had no problems. Only problem, the mattress on both sides do not allow the air to travel up through the mattress. Thought it was strange but maybe it needed to be broken in a little to get it.
After two months into this 90 day trail period to love it, I called to troubleshoot to see what is going on. Call was courteous and through talking it over with rep, they determined it was the fan and main control module. Several days later, got the call to schedule a service tech to come out and replace them both on both sides. Tech came out right away to replace them! After being replaced, fans were blowing a lot harder, but nothing was still coming out of the mattress. The tech was not sure what the problem could be either but suggested we file a warranty claim on them to get the mattresses swapped out.
The very next day we went back to the flagship store to confirm whether or not it should be blowing through or not, perhaps we didn't remember it correctly. Went in to the flagship store qnd sure enough, had a weighted fabric on the bed to highlight the fact, it does blow through the mattresses. Could even feel the breeze on my hands when hover over the mattress. Completely different from what I received!! We talked with one of the reps there to find out what we could do. They gave us the warranty phone number qnd advised us to call. I called as soon as we got home, but they are only open till 8pm on business days. Called the very next day and it turns out warranty claims cqn only be filed online. Okay, hopped online and filed the claims for both sides and awaited to hear back within their window of 7-10 business days. The next day they responded to the claim! Great! Hopefully some great news!... Nope...

WHAT?! It is designed that way?! It stores the air in the mattress and not come through it!! Then why, at their OWN flagship stores, do the highlight the fact, that is blows through the mattress with a weighted piece of fabric!!? You can even feel it without touching the bed! More than likely going to get one of their lower tier mattresses as it is essentially the same, unless I can get these mattresses swapped out for ones that actually do what they show off at their own flagship stores.
My advice, save your hard earned money qnd time, stay away from this mattress!!!
I want to love it, but I am not going to pay top dollar for the same mattress I can get for much less money.

I am a hot sleeper, I also don't like basting air conditioning. This Mattress has led to a much more comfortable sleeping experience. All the bells and whistles are nice, tracking your sleep, REM time, deep sleep time, Bluetooth speakers etc but the primary reason I purchased this was for the cooling effect; it works. You don't feel a breeze, like a fan, but the mattress remains cool the entire night. If I have one complaint/suggestion for Tempurpedic, why can't I put the night lights on a timer? Have them turn on and off every night/morning? This is a minor feature addition and for the price I would expect it.

I've had the bed for a month and had a power outage a couple weeks ago. The cooling fans and vibrations do not work. I called warranty and was told it is not of thier concern. The bed is not worth the money. Tempurpedic warranty is a scam. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

I love the concept of this mattress and thought I'd be bragging to all my friends. I couldn't understand why I couldn't get a good night sleep and kept having hip pain. I'm a curvy girl and have some hips but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm a side sleeper and prefer a softer mattress. The store recommended medium hybrid when I laid on their tech equipment in store. I swear I felt like Princess and the Pea. WHY can't I go through the night without hip pain? After a couple months I had to move the bed so I figured I'd really check it out underneath. Never really did that when it was set up. The mattress is 13" but the cooling holes go a whopping 8.5" deep (yes, I used a measuring tape)! To me, that made all the difference! It was like an ah-ha moment for both my husband and I. I can actually feel the plastic holes underneath, especially when the base is reclined. Unless I sleep in the middle I don't think I'll ever be comfortable on this mattress. I'll be trying to trade it for the Luxe Breeze soft I believe. Hopefully it's not too late.

The bed comes with a lot of options so you can rest your way. I used to overheat at night, and wake up several times because of that. The ventilation system is amazing - overheating is no longer a problem.

Let me start by saying I love this bed. It does just about everything you could want a bed to do. It's extraordinarily comfortable and all the ways you can adjust the base makes it so versatile. I took a star because one of the main reasons I bought this bed was for the cooling feature. But much like every other product I've tried to prevent overheating at night, it is disappointing. The bed quickly warms up to your body temperature and even on the highest setting, the cooling is not noticeable.

We exchanged our cool breeze for this one on a warranty claim and I'm really disappointed.
Your partner will feel every move you make in the bed and the hybrid medium firmness is hard. We spent thousands and I'm uncomfortable and hurt when I wake up.
What I do like is the cooling feature, it works really well and I don't get hot, this feature alone is what made me want to try this bed but I will take a hot swift bed over a cool hard bed.

Process for registration is terrible because how you access the numbers on bed and base. Very hard to find and actually see the numbers especially for someone that has physical issues. Installer should give you the data when they are installing unit and have easy access to data.

We bought the split king bed. So far we like the mattresses, we are still
in the break in period. Just beware of the set up at the time of delivery. The delivery crew did not know how to set up the bases- they did not connect the two frames together at the head of the bed, not connected right at the foot, nor did they connect the tubes from inside the mattress to the frame. Which is how the active breeze works. We realized this after reading the manual for ourselves. Good thing we did too, because the tubes were still up in the mattress and the opening taped shut. Also trying to figure out how much of a gap is acceptable between the mattresses on a split king. I called the store where we purchased but they didn't know the answer and the manager never called us back. The info was not on the website. Right now there is a 2" width gap between them, so a bigger crack than the split king on display at the store. And yes, are frames are touching because I had to reinstall the connectors accurately. So a few hiccups regarding set up, but this should be handled on delivery day for the price that is being paid. I cannot imagine an elderly couple being able to do what we had to do.

The whole bed experience has been an ordeal. The delivery people didn't fully set it up. After two nights, we lifted the bed up (not easily) and noticed the holes in the bed were still covered with tape, so they didn't hook up the hoses.
Since then, the bed doesn't get as cool as we expected and when we felt a bed on a demo floor, we could feel the air coming out of the mattress. They explained it was like an air hockey table. Even at the highest setting with zero sheets on the bed, we can't feel air coming out anywhere.
I looked online and many people state that V1 of the bed had better airflow than V2. I don't know which I have or if I just got a dud. It hasn't wowed us, especially for over 13K. If no air is coming out of the mattress like the one on the demo floor, it seems odd that it's so different from the one at the showroom.

After spending a crazy amount of money, I want to love the bed and there are things I like and things I don't like about it. The mattress is comfortable and I like that it can be adjusted. My husband likes the heat to warm up his side of the bed, and for his sake, I try to tolerate the smell it emits and the sound of the motor. The Tempur-Active Breeze is not very effective without the Tempur-pedic mattress pad and sheets so I miss the cotton comfort of my former pad and sheets. My husband also likes the "massage" feature. Somehow it relaxes him and lulls him to sleep. I find the noise and vibration more irritating than relaxing, but I'm trying to get used to it and am relieved when it turns off automatically. The vibration can be heard throughout the house so we probably won't use the massage feature when guests are staying the night. I like to sleep in a dark room so I don't like all the indicator lights under the bed. I've covered some of them up, but I can't reach a couple under the middle of the bed. I wish there were a way to turn them off. Both my husband and I feel if we lie close to the edge of the bed, our bodies are at an angle and we will roll out. We are learning to stay about 6" from the edge because it doesn't feel supportive in that area and the feeling of being tilted is unsettling. After three back surgeries, we bought the bed hoping it would give my husband's back proper support and relieve some discomfort. It hasn't helped with that, but at least he likes the bells and whistles and doesn't mind the smell, lights, noise, and weird-fiber mattress pad and sheets. For me, it is a sensory assault at bedtime, especially the smell and the light, but I'm hoping I'll eventually like the bed, too.
